HomeJobCal is an online marketplace that connects homeowners seeking home services with independent service providers. We provide the platform and tools to facilitate these connections but are not a party to any agreement between users.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use HomeJobCal.
4. Homeowner Responsibilities
Homeowners are responsible for accurately describing the services they need, providing correct location information, and communicating clearly with service providers. Homeowners agree to evaluate service providers independently and accept responsibility for their hiring decisions.
5. Service Provider Responsibilities
Service providers represent that they have the skills, licenses, and insurance required to perform the services they offer. Service providers are independent contractors and not employees of HomeJobCal LLC. Service providers are solely responsible for the quality and completion of their work.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
HomeJobCal LLC is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any services arranged through our platform. We do not verify the credentials, licenses, or insurance of service providers. All transactions and agreements are solely between homeowners and service providers. HomeJobCal LLC shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from services arranged through this platform.
7. Payments
Any payment arrangements are made directly between homeowners and service providers. HomeJobCal LLC does not currently process payments and is not responsible for any payment disputes between users.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not post false or misleading information, use the platform for illegal purposes, harass or harm other users, or attempt to circumvent our platform by taking relationships off-platform to avoid future platform fees.
9. Termination
HomeJobCal LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or that we determine in our sole discretion is harmful to our platform or other users.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of HomeJobCal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
